Résumé:
“This talk explains some of the intertwined moral and methodological dimensions of a feminist research project aiming to produce a better standard or metric for measuring poverty across the world (www.genderpovertymeasure.org). I was privileged to be a member of the research team, based in Canberra, Australia. The three-year project was funded by several sources, mainly the Australian Research Council but also the University of Colorado at Boulder, the Philippine Health Social Science Association, The International Women’s Development Agency, Oxfam Great Britain Southern Africa Office, and Oxfam America.”
